Accessibility & night appearance

New

  • App-wide support for Reduce Motion: animations now respect the system accessibility setting.
  • New app appearance setting: light, dark, or system-dependent.
  • Motion and appearance can also be changed later under Appearance in Settings.

Improved

  • Breathing pacer, panic support, echo ripples and small symbol movements now have calmer variants.
  • Night mode reliably turns the whole app environment dark, including background and tab bar.
  • Appearance choices are introduced early in onboarding so users do not have to search for them first.

Fixed

  • Reduced Motion now also stops repeated pulses and scaling in sensitive modules.

Removed

  • Continuous motion no longer keeps running when motion should be reduced.

More on this

Gentler when motion is too much

This version lays the groundwork for better accessibility in the app. When iOS Reduce Motion is enabled, Inneres Echo reduces moving effects: breathing circles do not animate heavily, pulses become calmer and symbol animations stay restrained.

The app keeps its character. People who like the gentle echo animations can still use them. People who need less stimulation get a quieter version.

Night stays night

Night mode is now more consistently dark. The app background and tab bar also adopt the dark appearance, so the interface does not suddenly feel too bright at night.
